Frontier is an electric bike concept developed for the 2021 Polestar Design Competition, translating the brand's automotive design language into a solution for Brisbane’s CBD. The project focuses on Polestar’s core ethos - pure, progressive performance - by pushing the boundaries of technology and sustainable mobility within an urban context.

A central focus of the design was the integration of the charging experience. Rather than treating the bike as a standalone product, I explored how users dock and access the vehicle within a city. This led to the development of solar-powered charging stations situated in key urban hubs, designed to connect to a broader infrastructure that rewards brand loyalty while encouraging a shift toward alternative transport.

Frontier is a platform for exploring the future of sustainable transit. By bridging the gap between high-end industrial design and practical infrastructure, the project aims to increase the adoption of electric mobility and streamline the way we move through our cities.
