INKTOBER 2021
In October 2021, I decided to take on the Inktober challenge with a twist. Rather than using traditional ink on paper, I adapted the daily prompt format to my career path in 3D, pushing myself to create abstract and environmental concept art every single day.
The primary goal was speed. Completing a full project within a 24-hour cycle forced me to streamline my workflow and make decisive creative choices. Drawing inspiration from the visual languages of Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney, I focused on building a library of modular assets that I could reuse throughout the month, striking a balance between high-concept aesthetics and technical efficiency.
This marathon of daily creation became a vital training ground for my design process. It allowed me to experiment with lighting, scale, and composition at an accelerated pace, helping me build a versatile skillset and a robust asset kit that I continue to utilize in more complex, long-term projects.
