HAMS HALL 2030
In 2023, while working as part of the in-house design team at the BMW Group QUT Design Academy, I supported the Innovation & Digitalisation vision for BMW Group Plant Hams Hall in Birmingham, UK. The goal was to create a "2030 Future Vision" animation - a strategic communication tool showcasing the production strategies, sustainability efforts, and collaborative technologies that will define the plant under the global BMW iFACTORY initiative.
My role spanned the entire production pipeline, from initial conceptualization to final delivery. This involved refining the voice-over script for technical clarity and developing detailed storyboards to structure the animation’s flow. I focused on designing and re-creating various industrial assets and complex factory environments, ensuring they reflected the emerging systems intended to assist workers and optimize processes by 2030.
The project culminated in an internal video that bridged the gap between current operations and future aspirations, serving as a launch platform for subsequent projects. By managing everything from asset creation to rendering and post-processing, our team provided Hams Hall with a tangible look at their digital transformation, helping visualize the path toward an intelligent and sustainable future.
