Factory planning requires a careful balance between space, workflow, and sustainability, with each decision influencing how the wider facility operates. Developed by the BMW Tech Office team, this project explored how agentic AI could bring these competing priorities together within a digital twin. Specialised agents assessed object placement, incoming and outgoing traffic, and environmental conditions, while a coordinating agent combined their insights into a balanced planning solution. Our contribution focused on art direction and style frames, establishing how this complex exchange could be communicated visually. These frames explored ways to make an otherwise invisible process tangible, showing how individual systems could work together to support more efficient, adaptable, and sustainable factory planning.
